Kids become a scientist and learn by doing the actual experiments.
These programs are totally hands-on and meet the NCSCS objectives for Science. All of our programs are taught by degreed professionals.
High Touch - High Tech provides all equipment and materials in this supply intensive, educational experience. Upon completion of the field trip, students receive a cool science certificate and ALL programs provide create-and-keep experiments.

2011-2012 Prices:
The fee is $8.50 per student. There is a $320 daily/program minimum fee. Teachers and Parent Chaperones are encouraged to participate (free of charge).
Schools over 50 miles, may be subject to a 60 student minimum.

| Weather Wizards© Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow in your classroom any time of the year! Touch a real tornado! Learn the different types of precipitation and use common tools to measure weather. Feel real clouds, learn to use a thermometer and take home your own snow ball. Survive and Thrive© Turn animal investigations into memorable experiences as Junior Scientists explore our "Cute and Crawly" petting zoo. Take a look at live animals and what makes them similar and different. Feel how fur protects you, see through the eyes of a bug, and learn how these amazing animals survive & thrive! SENSE-sational Science© Seeing isn't always believing as we experiment with properties of common objects. Compete in our "Smelling Bee" and participate in our "Taste Tests". Become a Super Sorting Scientist and make and take home your own rainbow crystal creation. Combine all 5 senses for a "Sense-sational" Eruption! Design Time© It's a fine time to use different tools and see how you "measure up". How many worms tall are you? Put on your safety goggles, become a Bubbleologist and make a bubble blowing tool. Junior Scientists will become "Measuring Maniacs" as we compare standard and nonstandard units of measure! |

Junior Physicists will launch rockets and conduct gravity defying experiments that are guaranteed to get you Moovin' and Groovin'! Sticks and Stones© Dig in and work hands-on as we explore the components of soil. Turn on your head-lamps as Junior Geologists pan for real gemstones of all shapes, sizes and colors. Sort, test and keep what you find. Get up close and personal with Earth materials from all around the world! Matter Matters© It's no simple matter... does it float or sink, dissolve or melt? Discover the properties of liquid as we make water molecules stick together. If you dare, stick your hand into our Mystery Box and classify solids according to color, texture and shape. Make Ooey-Gooey slime and watch matter erupt! Our Living Planet© Junior Scientists will become experts in the needs of plants and animals.
